Please don't shed a tear for me
Just smile your life away;
Remembering all the happy times
We shared along the way.

Please don't shed a tear for me
Or mourn my passing on;
Accept my legacy of love
As life's paths you trod along.

My skies are no more gray;
There's only happiness for me
Today and every day.

Please don't shed a tear for me
You'll see me all too soon;
When we can shed a tear of joy
As you enter the golden room.
